Landscapes of Memory – Seminar at Philocetes Centre, New York

I’ve got other bits to post but I must post this before I forget.

I was actually thinking about the psychogeography of digital space after my recent forays…. but will have to look deeper…or more widely…

It is fascinating as it includes a personal discussion between Psychoanalysts, artist ( Vito Acconci!!!) and neuroscientists…all talking about  Psychogeography  and memory.

Lots of references to W.G Sebold and Prout and… Wordsworth… if only I had time to read them all.

I will have to take other people’s word for it…

Vito Acconci is actually now an active designer and architect… a million mile away from his work in the ’60s and ’70s

I found this quite unnerving for some reason …but he is apparently involved in digital design so I will look deeper at what he is involved in, now…..
